Raschig rings

The most frequently used filling of distillation and absorption columns are the so-called Raschig rings. These are short, thick-walled pipes that have the same length as the outer diameter. It is made of various materials, the most common being ceramics. The rings produced by us are made of C111 porcelain material, which is chemically and dimensionally stable in the working environment of the columns.

Textile ceramic guide

belongs to our traditional products. We make them from technical porcelain (C111) and steatite (C221), either with a glazed or unglazed surface. Ceramics have excellent wear-resistant properties, which is why they are used on functional parts of textile machines used to guide textile fibers, threads or yarns. In this group of products we can find in particular: textile grommets with a closed (eyelet) or semi-closed opening. This also includes pulleys of various shapes and diameters.

Packing, handling, storage

The filters are standardly delivered in cardboard boxes on disposable pallets wrapped in foil, which protects them from air humidity. Each box has an identification label with type and size information like filter code and size, production date, inspection number.

Ceramic filters are fragile and must be transported with the utmost care. Storage is allowed in covered warehouses. It is not allowed to stack pallets on top of each other. Filters that have been exposed to high humidity must be dried before use in the foundry!
